10 facts about Claire Tassoul with “The Mane Claire”
Many good things come in small packages, and Claire could not be farther from that! She is a petite beauty packed with drive, inspiration and talent!
I had the pleasure of meeting Claire after a coffee date I had set up with her to talk about our new salon suites. Right away I was greeted with a smile and excitement. After just an hour of chatting with this bubbly beauty, I knew she was going to go somewhere with her business. There is no shortage of business in this girl. Not only does she see her 10 year plan, she also is so incredibly talented and here are some things about Claire that made her such a good fit for our salon.
Who inspires you the most and why? Other stylists inspire me! We are all on very different journeys, but at the same time we can relate to each other so much and help each other out!
Give me 3 things you hope to see in your growth in the next 10 years! Expanding my bridal business, educating local stylists and beyond how to grow their business, transitioning from married life to parenthood and how to navigate through all the ups/downs.
What advice would you give someone starting out in cosmetology? Stay true to who you are and work really hard! Consistency is key!
What is something most people wouldn’t know about you? I used to Irish dance! Give me all the Irish music and I’ll whip out a jig for you!
What is your favorite food?! ☺️I’m a sucker for apple crisp!
Who is your ideal client? Someone that is truly open to anything! I really appreciate when someone sits in my chair and allows me to perform magic on them!
If someone were to run into you somewhere, where would you be most likely? Fresh Thyme - I’m a health nut 🤓
Why did you chose to start your own business? I chose to start my own business because I had so many ideas of what I wanted to do with it. My parents are both entrepreneurs so I feel like it’s in my blood! The Mane Claire has led me to so many amazing opportunities that I wouldn’t have had if I were an employee somewhere else!
How long have you wanted to do hair and why? When I was younger I never dreamed of doing hair. The opportunity just happened after I chose not to pursue a nursing degree. With growing up in competitive dance I was around a lot of the glitz and glam so it felt natural when I went all in on becoming a stylist!
What do you love most about the industry? Why? I love the different opportunities that the beauty industry has to offer as well as the client/stylist relationships you build over the years! I can’t imagine being a part of any other industry because this is so amazing!
